Fashion / Walking in LA: Sarah St. Lifer of Refinery 29
The balmy days of summer are upon us, and sunny pavements mean prime real estate for some major style spotting. For this Forever LA season, we’re all about the who’s who on the West Coast, so we hit up each hood and snapped 6 of the city’s fashion influencers in their best street-style looks.
First up… Sarah St. Lifer, the West Coast Editorial Assistant at Refinery 29 whose Silver Lake digs combine the magic of the east side music and hole-in-the-wall restaurant scenes with retro aesthetics for a one-of-a-kind vibe that’s just soooo LA!
My Style: Inspired by Diane Keaton, naturally!
Job Perk: My co-workers are some of the most inspiring (and stylish) people I’ve ever met. That, in addition to the fact that I work from home means getting dressed in the morning is easy as pie (basically, I live in sweats!).
I Love Silver Lake b/c … [it’s] all of the things I love about L.A., all in one place. Between the music scene, shopping, and eating — the east side is pretty magical. I can’t wait for my boyfriend to open up his second restaurant, Night + Market 2.0, out here. I’ll never have to leave my little bubble, unless it’s for Soul Cycle!
It’s “SO LA” when… Every menu these days has some sort of kale salad. Not that I’m complaining, but I’ve had more of those leafy greens in the past year than most people have in a lifetime.
