Fashion / TRAVEL TUESDAY: NEIGHBORHOOD TOUR WITH DYLANA SUAREZ

Currently traipsing across the snow-studded pavement at New York Fashion Week is none other than our maje-loved blogger pal Dylana Suarez of Color Me Nana, who sweetly took a break from the show madness to ferry it over to Brooklyn to give us an exclusive F21 tour of her favorite hangouts. After you…

Varet Street is one of my favorite streets in this neck of the woods because everything I need and love is just on this street or at least a block away in all directions.

You can find me around Bedford Avenue most weekends running errands after the gym, thrift shopping or just checking out a coffee spot I haven’t tried before. Southside, northside . . . give me all sides of Williamsburg. I love it all!

My roommate took me to this place and it was love at first sight. It really is a little house of wonders! Painted all blue inside and with a tree growing straight through the middle of it, I felt like I was in a treehouse overgrown with foliage. I was looking for little elves and fairies to pop out around all corners. Super cute little sit down vibe with delicious drip coffee and a vast sandwich menu that is far from the classic sandwich fare. The Japanese/French style fusion made for an eclectic menu! Oh, and make sure you bring cash!

Say hello to Bakeri, my new favorite weekend coffee spot in Williamsburg. Found thanks to my friend Emma Jane Kepley, who shot these photos of me in our warm little nook at the back of this coffee shop/bakery/brunch spot. What I loved most was how the girls who worked there all wore Rosie the Riveter-style uniforms. So cute! Bakeri’s chunky cookies are just as delightful, and apparently their grilled cheese is bomb.
