Featured / OFF THE RUNWAY: RETRO FIT

Wish we all could be retro girls? The ladies at Dior, Peter Som, Giles and Moschino‘s rocked it on the runway, so why not you? Whether you love va-va voom pencil skirts, floral Beach Party (1963) onesies or good ol’ polka dots, the time is now to take your summer style on a fashion-forward flashback to the 60s. Here’s how you can recreate the retro look, while still keeping your summer paycheck afloat. Go for the rompers with playful prints like bright florals and bold polka dots, Peter Pan collars for sweetness and cropped shorts with high impact patterns.

This has to be one of my favorite off the runway posts. I really love the fact that retro fits like it says, “showing curves without showing too much skin”, are coming back because they give us women classic pieces and fits to work with that flatter our bodies no matter what size. Love the polka dot dress!
I’ve always believed that Forever 21 is far ahead of the curve when it comes to trending fashion, which is why I include the merchandise commonly on my blog! Check out the geometric trend here: http://beworthy.wordpress.com/2011/05/25/the-geometric/ – totally affordable and absolutely chic!

Those sandals are so cute. Remind me of Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes. That romper is fabulous and the neckline on the halter dress – gorgeous! I guess I like the retro look more than I thought.
You really need to improve your sales for the Canadian website. The summer sales consist of winter/fall items! It’s been like that for almost a month. Other forever21 websites (i.e. the US),feature much better sales items. Stop trying to sell those items in your sales, obviously, no one in Canada wants them, give us something new for once!
i love all of the styles on forever 21…
i wish i could just take every thing home ^~^<3
