Fashion / Miami Blogger Meet Cute: 10 Questions with Vintage Mavens

We’ve been strutting around Miami all week with our new blogger bestie Shareen of Vintage Mavens, and we think we’re officially on girl-crush status. This gorgeous gal has a knack for finding one-of-a-kind treasures that are soooo amaze that we demanded she show us the ropes of vintage shopping!

So, why did you want to meet at this particular vintage shop?

The Rabbit Hole has always been my very favorite vintage shop. It’s so well curated, and each piece is deliberately picked to suite the brand. It’s not just a vintage shop filled with random things – the pieces tell a story.

What do you love about vintage style?

The best part about wearing something vintage is knowing that no one else will have it.  It’s a great way to express your unique style.

What are you wearing today?

A safety pin tank top from (surprise) The Rabbit Hole, and a vintage Dolce & Gabbana skirt with Forever 21 accessories and vintage flats.

Your look in 5 words or less.

Vintage, Minimalist, Classic, Pattern Lover.

So, why did you start blogging? Where did it all begin?

I started blogging three years ago while I was working as a visual merchandiser here in Miami. I would spend my free time thrifting and wanted a place to showcase my finds.

This may be too much to ask but. What’s a secret vintage haunt you always go to?

Shhhh….. it’s Flamingo Plaza in Hialeah.

Favorite resto in the city?

Bali Cafe in downtown Miami.

What is your favorite place in Miami to go on a date?

The Tower Theater, followed by Azucar Ice Cream Shoppe in Little Havana.

The last vintage piece you splurged on?

A vintage Stevie Nicks tee from the 80′s. It’s AMAZING.

How has your life changed since becoming a blogger?

I feel incredibly lucky to be a blogger – I’ve met some of my closest friends through blogging, and have the opportunity to work with amazing companies. It truly is a dream come true.

Other vintage stores we visited with Shareen were Fly Boutique and SoBe Thrifty!
