Fashion / KRISTEN FROM GLITTER ‘N GLUE
Kristen Turner is the big haired, do-it-yourself debutante from Texas who gives weekly fashion DIY project on her blog Glitter ‘N Glue. She shows us a quick, easy, and super affordable way to get an embellished collar that’s been popping up everywhere lately!
Materials}: Collared Shirt, Stud Earrings
Start a collection of your favorite studs. You can use pearls or rhinestone studs. Forever 21 has tons of great stud earrings to choose from!
Add earring studs to desired location on the collar. If the earring is too heavy, apply a tiny amount of fabric glue to the back of the stud to prevent it from shifting.
The flip side!
Use the earring backs to secure the studs.
Done!

Earrings in place of studs!! What a novel idea. It cuts the project time in half! Plus, it looks so gorgeous – a lot more feminine than the ubiquitous pyramid studded collars.

That’s a very good DYI, but I’m not sure how expensive it will be by buying all those earings jajaaj! Anyway I will see if I could try to do it.

This looks really cute! The only downside is that the earring posts will poke into your neck, right? Maybe use pliers or something to cut off the extra ends
