Fashion / GUEST POST: SUMMER DIY: HAIR WRAP
There is something about the summer season that just calls for a messy & chic braid, don’t you agree? Fishtail, mermaid, or just regular- however you braid your tresses- it’s the perfect do for a day at the beach or lounging by the pool.
Give your braid of choice an extra lil’ boho touch with this fab hair wrap DIY. It’s super easy to make & totally versatile. You can braid it into your braid like me, wrap it around a bun, wear it as a headband, or even rock it around your wrist as a cute wrapped bracelet.
The options for cuteness with this piece are endless! Happy DIY-ing.

Supplies: gold rhinestone chain, charms, braided leather cord, suede lace (preferably in a bright color!).
Step 1: First, gather your supplies. For this project, I used a couple necklaces & deconstructed them for parts. You can always buy chain & charms as well, but I really wanted to use a rhinestone chain & this layered necklace had just that.
So, lay out your chain, your charms, & cut your suede lace and braided cord to match the length of your chain.
Step 2: Then, gather together the chain/suede lace/ braided cord & tape them to a flat surface. Braid together, just like you would braid your hair.
Step 3: Tie off each end of your braid with a piece of your braided cord.
Step 4: Using jewelry pliers, remove the charms from the chain, keeping the jump ring intact.
Step 5: Attach the charms to your braid in three different spots.
