The trouser is officially on trend, and after spotting this metallic striped pair on the runway, I grabbed a bright blue pair and some silver fabric paint to recreate the look while adding some color to my wardrobe for spring!

Supplies: Wide leg Trousers, masking tape, fabric paint, paint brush, iron

Step 1: Place tape down the side of your trousers from top to bottom, the first piece on the seam, and the second 1-2 inches from the first.

Step 2: Paint in between the lines to create the stripe down the side.

Step 3: Let dry for 2 hours then peel off the tape. Repeat on the opposite side.

Step 4: After the second stripe dries, turn your pants inside out and iron the stripes to set the paint.
