She’s a super fierce fashion star who started her career at NYLON México (so jelly!!) and has an obsession with cats that we totally dig. What’s your blogger back-story?
I began fashion writing when I entered college and got my first job as an intern at NYLON México. As I was learning more and more, I began writing for other websites and blogs as a fashion contributor, and as I gained experience in blogging, I decided to make one of my dreams true with a magazine!
How did you settle on the name Meow Magazine?
Personally I love cats, but basically I named it MEOW because it’s an onomatopoeia that can be pronounced in many countries.
Describe your style in 5 words.
Moody, pastels, prints, comfortable and unique
What is the one item in your closet that you couldn’t live without?
My denim jacket.
What blogs do you read?
Any tips for new bloggers?
Be yourself every time in every aspect. From your blog concept, to the design, the content, everything has to be unique, it do not make sense to have many Man Repellers or Susie Bubbles.
What is your current obsession?
Breton striped t-shirts, Instagram, Laura Manfre illustrations, beauty products and rawfoodism.
What was your most embarrassing style or trend moment in school?
Waffle hair and bug fringe with styling gel. (los flequitos con gel jaja)
Pick your favorite high school movie: The Heathers, Clueless or Mean Girls?
How did you declare your style in high school?
[I was] a tomboy disaster when Avril Lavigne had her “Complicated” hit.
