One of our favorite DIY bloggers has released a book! Jenni Radosevich from I Spy DIY has released an amazing book that hosts all her recreations of runway and magazine inspired looks. She offers many ideas from designers and celebrities for an easy, accessible take on the DIY world! Jenni has been a guest editor on our blog before; DIY-ing these trouser pants with a little hint of silver lining. What inspired you to come out with a DIY book?
I have always been a crafty girl, growing up in Wisconsin I always created my own style: thrifing clothes, making friendship bracelets, and covering everything I owned with tie dye and puffy paint. When I moved to New York, on a tight budget, I continued to make the trends I was seeing in magazines and on the runway. I got a great response from my coworkers at InStyle, which lead to a story in the mag, then a column, and then my book, I Spy DIY Style!
What’s the latest Forever 21 DIY you’ve done?
The last project I did was cover a F21 skirt with feathers for a party, it looked like a million dollars
Any tips for first time DIY-ers?
Start out with a simple project, and once you get the technique down, work your way up to more difficult projects. And make sure to wear what you create, because the thrill of saying you did-it-yourselves makes you want to DIY more!

Out this April, her first book, I Spy DIY Style, will include 30 new projects inspired by celebrities, runway and vintage looks, with tips and ideas from designers, DIY bloggers, and fashion insiders.
The trouser is officially on trend, and after spotting this metallic striped pair on the runway, I grabbed a bright blue pair and some silver fabric paint to recreate the look while adding some color to my wardrobe for spring!
