As edgy and alternative as they are, these Twilight stars sure clean up nicely for the red carpet. While everyone’s going nutso over the premiere, we’re sinking our teeth into their stylish looks of past and present, on and off the red carpet... Kristen Stewart has seriously vamped up her look and gone from shy, alternative beauty to GORG runway dress-donning starlet. Flaunting designer frocks left and right, from Oscar de la Renta to Herve Leger to Balenciaga, we’d say she’s starting to earn some serious style cred... It’s all about the gel-tossed bed-head look, and the scruffy face. We’d call it hipster-grunge with major LA vibes and pops of color. RPattz pulls it off, but the best part is he still knows the meaning of suiting up for the red carpet. Oh, and the bow ties? Swoon! Team Jacob is all about the prepster look, but with a dark and debonair edge. I mean really, Taylor Lautner looks nothing but flawless in a suit and tie, but equally polished in a leather jacket and jeans. His looks are always impeccably tailored, and his dark-eyed stare tops it all off making knees wobble across the globe... Last night, New Moon premiered at the Bruin in Westwood and we’re not just obsessed because we love the books, or because this all took place here in LA, but mostly because of the runway looks that showed up on the red carpet. I mean really. From Valentino to McQueen, these Twilight starlets shut it down... Kristen Stewart’s Joan Jett cut and black bangles give an edgier spin to this elegant Oscar de la Renta gown. Her signature smoky cat eye completes the look, no less, but our favorite part about it? The best accessory a girl can have—Kristen works this look with self-confidence, and nothing looks better. While we’re a little bummed model/actress Noot Seear didn’t rock the massive 10-inch platforms from McQueen’s Spring 2010 runway, we’re still swooning for the dress. Her wavy golden locks and simple accessories add up to a pretty sophisticated take on McQueen’s apocalyptic vision. Grown up and gorgeous Dakota Fanning nails the darker side of Valentino’s Spring 2010 collection. Vamping up the lacey dress with deep-burgundy platforms and nails to match, we give major props to this seriously stylish 15-year old. This week, Dakota Fanning came back out of the woodwork all grown up and gorgeous, and Rihanna takes our breath away, yet again... This baby-faced beauty was once chalking up all of our “ahh how cute”s, but now? We’re blown away by what a babe she’s become. With an edgy role in the upcoming New Moon, she tells Teen Vogue “I get my rebellion out through my movies. I’m boring in that way.” Boring? This blue-eyed bombshell in animal print? We think not. Rihanna went sculptural to the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Awards this week, in a breathtaking Stephane Rolland gown, and is looking completely stunning, yet again. Edgy-cool may be her dressed down style, but she pretty much kills it at any look, don’t you think?
